Inspect the outline first
Winter Tetrix Trails asks players to drag and place blocks to fill silhouettes. Before choosing the largest open area, inspect the boundary for narrow notches and unusual corners. Those places may admit fewer of the available shapes than the broad center does. Treat that as a question to investigate, not a guarantee that every corner has a single forced solution.
Compare the remaining spaces
When considering a placement, imagine the outline left afterward. A block may fit neatly in its current location while leaving an isolated pocket that the remaining pieces cannot fill. Look at both the placed shape and the shape of the unused area. A plausible first move becomes more useful when you can explain what it preserves for the rest of the puzzle.
Read the manipulation rules
The description identifies dragging and placing but does not confirm rotation, reflection or unlimited repositioning. Establish those controls before relying on an orientation that may not be available. If a placement can be revised, use that behavior as shown. This note offers no completed silhouette or guaranteed ordering. It gives the winter-themed shape task a constraint-based starting point and a reason to inspect the space a promising block would leave behind.
Use a silhouette's constraints to choose where a shape-filling puzzle begins.
